Boston Inspiration

I'm just back from Boston, well Framingham really, and had an awesome inspirational weekend of classes. I did take a couple of classes with Shari Carroll and Jennifer Mcguire, they are tremendous teachers, classy, genuine and "real" people. I love to see them and visit whenever and as frequently as I can.

Here's a card inspired by Jennifer.

The amuse-bouche continues! YUM!

This amuse-bouche would be awesome served up on a black card too with white images stamped in the background!

This card was created in 3 minutes, I challenged myself to use items on my desk only, then I got laughing at myself, this is usually how I make a wedding card, on the way out the door, I'm always writing the check in the car & forgetting the card! YIKES!

Enjoy this delicious tid-bit! I have been loving the color black as an accent with these cards and my fabulous Black A muse dye pad is giving me rich dark black. fabulous! I used pear tart and bamboo leaves memento for the eucalyptus image.

Love this fiskars scallop punch, new a muse stamps from the love blooms collection... Congratulations and Lily, I added details to the Lily with copic and white pen, and as always you need a little ribbon! Enjoy, not full yet, more amuse-bouche to come! YUM!

amuse-bouche anyone?

I know what the heck??? Well simply put amuse-bouche is french for appetizer. You're not going to believe it but A muse has another set of new stamps and they are delectable!

I used 3 new images here gown, save the date, and wild blossom. A little glitter and some specks of white pen and you have a georgeous card.

This is just the beginning of the amuse-bouche there is definately more to come! Check out all the other Muse blogs to see what they have designed, just delicious!

I found a stamp with NO ink on it! WHAT!!

I can't believe it, this little stamp had not one speck of ink and I can't believe I hadn't used it. I love this little swing girl and with all the sunshine we've been having recently, it makes me want to go swing!





I paper pieced the image, and ran the card front through a cuttlebug embossing sheet, the pearl stickers on the front just add a little glitz! And double ribbon aka Rhonda's technique.

Crazy Clean-Out

Since we moved to this house 4 years ago, I have had a stash of stamps that I haven't used, so I purged, and purged and purged and reorganized and am still reorganizing, so where have I been? Hip deep in stuff! YIKES!

Class this weekend

For those of you who missed it, I added a class to the list, Easter Inspirations on Sunday from 1:00 - 3:00. We will be making some darling cards for easter, lots of layering and cutting!


I am also teaching a make-up copic class from 12:00 -1:00, this is a technique only class for those of you who were out of town or couldn't make the last one and would like to learn more about copic markers.

I thought about making a non-square card an I might still, but I just got this Saltbox Studio set and this was such a cute card and it fit the challenge.
